Turnaround Times for fresh shot film for Cinelab processing and ready prepped previously processed film for scan (Typical) 35mm and 16mm 2-10 work days, 8mm 2-3 weeks Ektachrome E6 Color Reversal processing is 2-3 weeks, Push/Pull will typically add several days to turnaround time. we also offer same day rush processing service. All R8mm with slitting is 4 -6 weeks due to special handling requirements. Cinelab runs five film processors, and five advanced scanners up to 6.5K

Cinelab does NOT develop Kodachrome we recommend Film Rescue or Mono No Aware for developing.

Archival projects and old home movies typically are 4 to 8 work weeks and take longer due to the care and attention needed, this work time-frame is highly dependent on the condition of the original film.

About Cinelab:

Cinelab was founded in 1948 by Lester and his buddy who were in the Navy in WW2, back then there were allot of film labs and video was super spendy and hard to come by so film ruled! those guys sold Cinelab to Brad in 1986 and Rob arrived as partner in 2006. So Cinelab was one of many labs and now it the only one and is run by some young and younger people who live film. We offer 35mm, 16mm and 8mm film processing, printing, production dailies, Optical and Wet Gate 16mm and 35mm film printing, 35mm and 16mm Digital to film recording, and archival preservation. We have decades of experience working on projects ranging from Major Feature and TV dailies to old 8mm home movies and everything in between. All work is done in New Bedford Mass, all film development processes are run in their own dedicated processors
